Bounce Hotel Sydney

Bounce Sydney provides upmarket accommodation for backpackers and budget travellers. Fresh, new and modern, we're conveniently located opposite Central Station.

We've got air-conditioning in every room, high-speed WiFi internet, a secure key card system, huge lockers, three lounge areas, and an awesome rooftop terrace and BBQ area with stunning views of the Sydney skyline. It's no surprise that Bounce Sydney has recently been voted the #1 Hostel in Australia!

Check in is available from 2:00pm. If arriving earlier, luggage storage is available if required.

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION:

1. Guests under the age of 18 are not permitted to stay at Bounce. Student and university groups are considered by request only.

2. If you are placing a reservation for more than one person in a dormitory room we cannot guarantee that you will be allocated beds in the same room. Please ensure that you make a request at time of your booking and we will do our very best to keep your group together.

3. All guests are required to present valid photo identification upon checking-in. We will accept a Drivers License, Passport or National ID Card only.

• Direction

  1. By Rail:
     Bounce is located directly opposite Sydneys Central Station. In fact if you catch the train from the Airport you will arrive on platform 23 which can be seen from our front door step! Ask anyone for directions to Chalmers Street - Bounce is located at 28 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills.
     
     By Bus:
     There are numerous shuttles from the Airport. Sydney City Shuttle bus is one of the cheapest methods to get to the city. The service leaves approximately every half an hour from outside the Arrival Gates at both the International & Domestic Terminals. The cost is from $12 per person one way. If staying over 5 nights Bounce will pay for your transfer! Simply call us on 02 9281 2222 when you arrive at the airport and we will arrange the pick up for you.
     
     By Taxi:
     Costs around $25-$30 depending on traffic. Ask driver to go via O'Riordan Street and through Redfern and down Chalmers Street as this is the shortest route dont let them go via the freeway/motorway!

• Car Parking Facilities

  1. There is no parking available at the hotel. Restricted metered parking is available in Chalmers Street. Pay Parking Stations are located in Mary Street (between Albion & Foveaux St) and in Holt St (near Devonshire St).
     
     Disabled car parking is available in Chalmers Street.
