Louisa's Cottage B&B Hobart

Louisa's Cottage is a fine example of later Victorian design retaining the comfortable atmosphere of earlier years. Built in 1884 and classified by the National Trust, Miss Louisa Merridew's residence for 80 years has been tastefully restored to the grace and dignity of her family home whilst offering our guests today's 4 star comfort.

Whether you are on a getaway for two, a wonderful week in Hobart with family or friends, or travelling on business, you will find Louisa's Cottage accommodating. Meticulous attention to detail in each bedroom provides a unique experience.

  1. Louisa's Cottage is situated in the heart of Sandy Bay, 1 km from the Hobart CBD and a similar distance from the Wrest Point Casino. Hobart's many attractions are within a few minutes easy drive. Leave your car in our off street car park, as you are only around 80 metres from the Sandy Bay shopping precinct, taxi rank or frequent Metro Bus service.
